1. Who we are

ListNiq (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website listniq.com and provides AI-powered listing audit and optimisation tools for Etsy sellers. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: Your email address when you sign up.
• Etsy shop data: When you connect your Etsy shop via OAuth, we read your shop name, listing titles, descriptions, tags, and photos. We store your Etsy access and refresh tokens in encrypted form. We never receive or store your Etsy password.
• Audit data: AI-generated audit results, health scores, issue breakdowns, and rewrites are stored per listing so you can access your history.
• Market Research data:Search queries and AI analysis results from the Market Research feature are cached for up to 6 hours and tied to your account. This data is derived from publicly available Etsy listings using Etsy's public API and your app keystring, not your personal OAuth token.
• Shop health history:We store a daily snapshot of your shop's average health score to power the health trend graph. This is derived from your own audit results.
• AI-generated content: Customer personas, seasonal alerts, listing wizards, review responses, and social captions are generated using your listing data (titles, tags, descriptions). This content is not stored after delivery and is not used to train AI models.
• Payment information: We do not store card details. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We receive subscription status updates via webhook.
• Usage and quota data: We track your audit count for the current calendar month to enforce plan limits. We also maintain a rolling 24-hour audit count in memory (not persisted to our database) to enforce daily rate limits. This resets automatically and is not stored after the 24-hour window expires.
• Error and diagnostic data: We collect anonymised error reports and usage events to improve the service. This is handled by Sentry and does not include listing content.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the ListNiq service.
• To run AI audits and rewrites on your Etsy listings.
• To manage your subscription and billing.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, password reset).
• To detect and fix errors and bugs in the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your listing content to train AI models.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, Etsy connection, listings, and audit data within 30 days. Some anonymised aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

6. Security

Etsy access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256. All data is transmitted over TLS. We use Supabase row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Settings page.
• Disconnect your Etsy shop at any time from your Settings page.
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing, the right to rectification, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies only, required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

ListNiq is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
